The main purpose of the base is to provide a known position to the RTK system in order for the RTKLib to compute the exact position of the rover module. It's then necessary to have a base whose position doesn't vary in time, and with the most accurate self-positioning ability. \
The base station accuracy is achieved by Survey-In which respects the computation between a successful minimum observation time and the required position accuracy chosen by the user. The more accurate the base positioning, the more accurate will be the rover module positioning. Thank you for the RTK methodology. The positioning accuracy evolves to nearly 1-2cm accuracy.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://drotek.gitbook.io/rtk-f9p-positioning-solutions/the-rtk-base.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
