# Fire

The Fire tab allows you to configure the precise timing of pyrotechnic charge activation for each drone. Up to three separate charges can be triggered per drone, and you can define the duration of each trigger. This feature enables accurate synchronization between pyrotechnics and the show choreography.

> ***Note that pyrotechnic effects are not visible in Blender. The tool only schedules the trigger timings; the actual visual effects must be handled externally during the real-life execution of the show.***

The `Fire` panel is used to control the IO Star extension board for fireworks.

The board has 3 channels, to trigger up to 3 fireworks.

`Duration` is the duration of the impulse step to trigger the firework (by default 40 ms).

To trigger a fire:

1. Select the drones to trigger
2. Move to the desired frame
3. Set `Duration`
4. Click on `Fire 0`, `Fire 1`, or `Fire 2`

{% hint style="warning" %}
You cannot do two fires on the same frame on the same drone.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://drotek.gitbook.io/lsc2/show-creation/fire.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
